Filipa Palmeirim gave a talk for a field course in Brazil

Tropibio Researcher Filipa Palmeirim gave the talk  "Species responses to habitat loss and fragmentation across tropical forests" during the field course on forest ecology in the South of Bahia, on 5th of July 2021 (online),

This course, led by the Professors Maíra Benchimol and Jose Carlos Morante-Filho, is part of the Post-Graduation Program in Ecology and Conservation (PPGEC) of the State University of Mato Gross (UNEMAT). In this class (in Portuguese), Filipa has provided an overview of the different species responses to habitat loss and fragmentation across tropical forests. Species responses were illustrated based on a set of study cases on vertebrates from landscapes in the Amazon biome and in tropical forests in Southeast Asia. Also, at the end of her class, Filipa had the opportunity to present the TROPIBIO project to the students.
