MAXIMISING PROJECT IMPACT: BRIDGING RESEARCH, POLICY AND PRACTICE

The TROPIBIO project aims to establish mechanisms for maximizing the impact of CIBIO's research in the realms of tropical biodiversity and ecosystems by strengthening the links between research, policy, and practice. Beyond knowledge transfer, which often involves connecting researchers with industry to commercialize intellectual property, our emphasis is on knowledge mobilization. Knowledge mobilization entails connecting non-commercial research institutions with organizations dedicated to maximizing the social benefits of research by informing decisions related to public policy and professional practice.
