Professor Brian Huntley visited CIBIO

Professor Brian Huntley, the Former CO of the South African National Botanical Institute (SANBI), retired professor and conservation scientist, visited CIBIO and the TROPIBIO team on the 22nd of September 2021. The team and Professor Huntley discussed new collaborations for filling biodiversity knowledge gaps relevant to conservation in the Mount Namba area of Angola – one of the least known sites in Angola. Professor Huntley also presented an overview of the state of knowledge on Biodiversity in Angola and discussions were  held regarding  ideas for new books and preparation of material for Angolan students.
