Richard Ladle delivers course on the BioDiv Programme
On the 8-11th of November the ERA Chair, Richard Ladle, gave a course on Biodiversity and Conservation Management (BCM) to 21 students from CIBIO’s BioDiv Programme. The course covered everything from the conceptual and ethical basis of conservation to modern approaches to species and ecosystem management. The course was a perfect opportunity to get to know the students on he BioDiv programme and to raise awareness of the research opportunities available on the TROPIBIO project. As a direct result of the course several BioDiv students have expressed an interest in doing their research projects in African Lusophone countries in collaboration with members of the core TROPIBIO team.
