News
Richard Ladle, Sofia Vaz (CIBIO-InBIO) and Ricardo Correia (HELSUS, Finland) participated in the roundtable "Conservation culturomics: an innovative approach to human-nature interactions event organized by the Portuguese Ecological Society (SPECO).
The roundtable was moderated by Rúben Oliveira, member of the SPECO Board and coordinator of the Network. Conservation culturomics is a new sub-discipline partly developed by Tropibio team members that uses big data to explore human-nature interactions at scale (see Ladle et al. 2016. Conservation culturomics. Frontiers in Ecology and the Environment, 14(5), 269-275.)
This is part of the DivECO events and took place at the SPECO Youtube channel, on February 24th (Thursday) at 6pm (Portugal time).
