Richard Ladle visits Tropibio collaborators in Madrid, Spain

Richard Ladle met with Dr Joaquín Hortal and Dr Juliana Stropp in the Museo Nacional de Ciencias Naturales, Madrid, Spain, to discuss ongoing collaborations between the Tropibio and the EU-funded Taxon-time project. Specifically, they discussed the application of Maps of Biogeographical Ignorance to Tropibio focal countries in Africa, completed a manuscript on the impact of taxonomic uncertainty on estimates of unknown species, and began planning forthcoming workshops on mapping biodiversity in Porto (2022) and Namibia (2023).
