Second review meeting of Tropibio happened on January 10th, 2023.
The Tropibio team (project coordinator Pedro Beja, ERA chair Richard Ladle, project manager Fredrik Oxelfelt, associated researchers Filipa Palmeirim, Luke Powell and Fernanda Alves-Martins, data technician Javier Martinez and communication officer Ana Malhado) met online with the EC project officer Cristina Hernandez de la Poza, and the EC consultant expert Faustine Fournie to present progress made up to September 2022 on the Tropibio project and to discuss future plans.
The meeting started with a small introduction and welcome to everyone, followed by a brief introduction to the Tropibio project and a detailed Project progress per Work-package for the reporting period. This included an overview of ongoing and planned Tropibio activities, Tropibio highlights, and the strategy for future development of the project. The presentation was made by Richard Ladle and was followed by a very productive session of questions, recommendations, and discussions. The review meeting was exceedingly productive and Tropibio project was very positively evaluated.
This was the Second Tropibio Technical Review meeting for the time period 18 to 36 months of the project. The previous meeting happened in April 2021 and the Third Review meeting is planned for 2024.
