PhD Student, Sonia Llorente-Culebras, from the Terrestrial Ecology Group (TEG-UAM), Ecology Department Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Spain, visited CIBIO and met with the Tropibio team to discuss research and collaborations between the 10th to 14th of October, 2022.
The aim with this visit was: (1) to work on the manuscript entitled "Publication trends in global biodiversity research on protected areas" that will be submitted in the coming weeks to the Biological Conservation Journal, (2) to discuss new research lines on drivers of functional traits knowledge gaps that Sonia will develop in the following chapters of her thesis, and (3) to sign the papers that make Richard Ladle an official co-supervisor of Sonia´s PhD thesis (together with Dr. Ana M. C. Santos). Further meetings are being planned for 2023.
