The objectives of the Exhibition are well summarized in the following transcript of the dissemination documents: "(…) The Exhibition of the University of Porto is an event aimed, fundamentally, at students of basic and secondary education, constituting an open window to discovery and to the knowledge of the different areas of activity and research of the university that brings together the most complete offer of training programs in Portuguese higher education. At the U.Porto there are more than 600 training programs that guarantee teaching solutions for all audiences in all major areas of study, from the 1st Cycle (undergraduate and integrated masters) to the highest postgraduate degrees (Master's and PhD). It is this unique offer in Portugal that the U.Porto invites the public to discover for four days, at the Gondomar Multiuse Pavilion, in the company of its fourteen faculties - Architecture, Fine Arts, Biomedical Sciences, Sports, Law, Economics, Pharmacy, Engineering , Arts, Medicine, Dentistry, Nutrition, Psychology and Educational Sciences -, a business school (Porto Business School) and several of the most important national research centers. Ana Claudia Malhado and Fernanda Alves-Martins were monitors at the science dissemination fair "Mostra UP” organized by the University of Porto. The Tropibio team assisted at the BIOPOLIS/CIBIO-InBIO Association's stand, that brought together a set of information in different media (video, game, experimentation), which made it possible to disseminate in an appealing way some activities related to the research underway at the Centre.
